Friday Finds #18

Friday finds is a meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading which showcases the books you ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list. Whether you found them online, in a bookstore, or in the library - wherever! (they aren’t necessarily books you purchased).

Hey book nerds! :3 How are you all doing? :D I've still got a cold about me, and now I also have ear-ache which really sucks. D: Oh well! Anyway, has anyone noticed I'm only one blog follower (via gfc) away until I reach 50 followers! :D As I've said countless times, I'm doing a giveaway and I'm really excited for you all to enter. :) Lastly; my next Stacking The Shelves post will probably be posted a day early, I usually post it on a Sunday, but due to various reasons I'm probably going to be post it tomorrow instead! ^.^

Friday Finds

When Summer Ends by Isabelle Rae.
Chloe Henderson has never been one to break the rules or push the boundaries… but during her summer break, she and her friends use fake IDs to sneak into a club. It’s there that she meets handsome and alluring bartender, Will Morris. The pair hit it off immediately, growing closer with every passing day. But as with every summer, it has to end sometime. Chloe’s senior year approaches and there’s a shock in store when she returns to do her final year at school. Will is there too, but he’s not one of her fellow students…

Invisible I (The Amanda Project, #1) by Isabelle Rae.
Mysterious, charismatic, and one of a kind—. The only way to find Amanda is to think like Amanda. When enigmatic freshman Amanda Valentino arrived at Endeavor High, she chose three people— Callie, Hal, and Nia—to guide her through the choppy waters of her new school. Except she didn't tell them about each other. When Amanda leaves, the three must reluctantly work together to figure out why. But once they start piecing together the cryptic clues that Amanda herself is leaving for them, they realize that everything they thought they knew about her is false. The more they dig, the mystery of where—and who— Amanda is deepens.

Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott.
Once upon a time, I was a little girl who disappeared. Once upon a time, my name was not Alice. Once upon a time, I didn't know how lucky I was.
When Alice was ten, Ray took her away from her family, her friends her life. She learned to give up all power, to endure all pain. She waited for the nightmare to be over. Now Alice is fifteen and Ray still has her, but he speaks more and more of her death. He does not know it is what she longs for. She does not know he has something more terrifying than death in mind for her. This is Alice's story. It is one you have never heard, and one you will never, ever forget.

After Obsession by Carrie Jones.
Aimee and Alan have secrets. Both teens have unusual pasts, and abilities they prefer to keep hidden. But when they meet each other for the first time, in a cold Maine town, they can’t stop their secrets from spilling out. Strange things have been happening lately, and they both feel strongly that something, or someone, is haunting them. They’re wrong. Despite their unusual history and powers, it’s neither Aimee nor Alan who is truly haunted. It’s Alan’s cousin Courtney who, in a desperate plea to find her missing father, has invited a demon into her life—and into her body. Only together can Aimee and Alan exorcise the ghost. And they have to move quickly, before it devours not just Courtney, but everything around her…

Summaries from Good Reads. The one I'm most looking forward to getting my hands on is probably When Summer Ends - I think it looks really incredible and I wish I could have it now. D: I may end up caving and buying it on kindle, because it's much cheaper! Living Dead Girl looks like a book that'll break my heart and send me into bursts of tears - so I'm looking forward to buying it eventually. As for the other two, they look great! :D Have you read any of my finds this week?
