Friday Finds #32

Friday finds is a meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading which showcases the books you've recently ‘found’ and added to your To Be Read (TBR) list.

Hey Book Nerds! :D I'm back again, I know I've been flitting between posting and not posting for a few days and I'm so sorry. Things have been so tiring for me lately, and I've been getting so many headaches that I've hardly wanted to stare at a computer screen. :) I am pleased, however, to be posting another Friday Finds post today. It's been weeks since I posted one of these and I've added so many different books to my TBR list recently that I need to share them with you! :3 As usual though, I'm only going to be posting 4 - hopefully I'll be back again next Friday with some more though! :D I’m still working on my proper layout for my blog, but the coding is taking forever, so it won’t be up for a little while longer. I hope you’ve all had a great week so far! I’m not sure if there will be a Book Haul post this weekend and I’m really busy, but there will be next week. ^.^

Friday Finds

Boy Nobody (Boy Nobody, #1) by Allen Zadoff.
Who is Boy Nobody?
The perennial new kid at school:
New town, new name... new mission.
The perfect assassin:
Kill your target and move on.
No fear. No sympathy. No remorse.
But this time is different. The stakes are deadlier. The memories are surfacing. And Boy Nobody is about to find out who he really is.

Two-Way Street by Lauren Barnholdt.
There are two sides to every breakup.
This is Jordan and Courtney, totally in love. Sure, they were an unlikely high school couple. But they clicked; it worked. They're even going to the same college, and driving cross-country together for orientation. Then Jordan dumps Courtney -- for a girl he met on the Internet.

It's too late to change plans, so the road trip is on. Courtney's heartbroken, but figures she can tough it out for a few days. La la la -- this is Courtney pretending not to care. But in a strange twist, Jordan cares. A lot. Turns out, he's got a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other.

Unleashed (Wolf Springs Chronicles, #1) by Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguié.
Katelyn McBride’s life changed in an instant when her mother died. Uprooted from her California home, Katelyn was shipped to the middle of nowhere, Arkansas, to her only living relative, her grandfather. And now she has to start over in Wolf Springs, a tiny village in the Ozark Mountains. Like any small town, Wolf Springs has secrets. But the secrets hidden here are more sinister than Katelyn could ever imagine. It’s a town with a history that reaches back centuries, spans continents, and conceals terrifying truths. And Katelyn McBride is about to change everything. Broken families, ageless grudges, forced alliances, and love that blooms in the darkest night—welcome to Wolf Springs.

Legacies (Shadow Grail, #1) by Mercedes Lackey & Rosemary Edghill.
Who—or what—is stalking the students at Oakhurst Academy?
In the wake of the accident that killed her family, Spirit White is spirited away to Oakhurst Academy, a combination school and orphanage in the middle of Montana. There she learns she is a legacy—not only to the school, which her parents also attended, but to magic. All the students at Oakhurst have magical powers, and although Spirit’s hasn’t manifested itself yet, the administrators insist she has one. Spirit isn’t sure she cares.

Devastated by the loss of her family, she finds comfort with a group of friends: Burke Hallows, Lachlann Spears, Muirin Shae, and Adelaide Lake. But something strange is going on at Oakhurst. Students start disappearing under mysterious circumstances, and the school seems to be trying to cover it up. Spirit and her friends must find out what’s happening—before one of them becomes the next victim…

Summaries from Good Reads. I really want to get my hands on all of these, they all look so fantastic! :D Two-Way Street looks like a really cute and fun read, I wish I could get my hands on it, I think it's the one I'm most excited about. Boy Nobody looks totally awesome! I'm guessing it's to do with an assassin? Or a spy of sorts - it's a 2013 release which is also really cool. ^.^ As for the last two, I came across them randomly when I was searching Amazon, and I've not heard a lot about them, but they look really good and I can't wait to pick them up. ^.^ Have you read any of my finds this week? Let me know! :)
